1. Ellis County Museum
The history of Ellis County is on display at the Ellis County Museum. Various time periods are represented through collections of items including silk and ivory fans, ivory pitchers and more. Housed in an 1889 structure, the museum is open daily.
2. Screams Halloween Theme Park
An October experience, Screams Halloween Theme Park contains five different haunted houses to keep visitors busy and frightened for a few hours. They serve alcohol and food, and occasionally screen movies and have karaoke nights.
3. Bethlehem Revisited
Travel back to Old World Bethlehem as it was at the time of Christ's birth. Rated the "Number One Holiday Event for the Lone Star State" by Fox 4 News in 2001. Open Friday-Sunday the first two weekends in December from 6pm-9pm. 402 North College Street, behind Central Presbyterian Church.
4. Lake Waxahachie
Bring your family, boat and jet skis. Excellent source of fishing for crappie, white bass, largemouth bass and channel catfish. 2 miles south of Waxahachie off FM 877.
5. Munster Mansion
private residence located at 3636 FM 813, is a recreation of the 60's TV sitcom The Munsters. The Victorian Style Mansion is complete with the ascending signature staircase, coffin phone, suit of armor, and Grandpa's electric chair.
6. Webb Gallery
